Back to Prime Time last night--Torico intros the evening with the Women's Hockey victory,  then it's off to Men's Slalom.  Almost half of the competitors went off the course.  There’s a point just before a competitor begins their run where his coach yells at him to get going, and based on the noises they made, I’m convinced at least one of them is Klingon (petaQ!)

Quadrennial International Sporting Event - It’s-a Me, QISE! Day 4 by Mark

Let’s jump into last night’s Prime Time, with the finale of the curling match--the two Coreys move ahead!  Torico is finally in Milan, reporting from the Duomo-adjacent set.  Over to Men's Team Combined Alpine Skiing (quite a mouthful).  The downhill portion shows off the graphics and drone work.  Play-by-play announcer Dan Hicks is at the top of his game.

Quadrennial International Sporting Event - It’s-a Me, QISE! Intro by Mark

We’re back with our coverage of what we call the Quadrennial International Sporting Event, to avoid the ire of the QISE Committee.  The winter games of 2026 are being held at dual cities--Milan and Cortina d’ Amezzo, Italy, with the latter holding the majority of the outside events (you will see “Milano Cortina” listed--it’s not a cookie).  Cortina hosted the games 70 years ago, so we’ll see which, if any, of the facilities are being re-used.
